The Session:

The leadership body of the church is called the session and consists of the elders, called the ruling elders.  The minister is the teaching elder and moderates the session. They meet once a month except during July and December.  

Book Club:  

This groups meets bi-monthly for discussions and thoughts on Christian and secular books.

Choir:  

Practice on a Thursdayat 7.30 P.M. and sings during worship on Sunday morning and at special services. No practice in summer months.  

Evening Bible Study: 

The group does various Bible studies and they meet on a Wednesday at 7.00 P.M.

Bible Study:

This group meets on a Wednesday at 10 A.M. 

Friends Helping Friends:  

People who may need it are being served with meals and transportation, for example: when they get home after being in hospital or moving into a new residence.  

Jean Wilson WMS:  

The WMS group  was named after the late Jean Wilson.  The group is involved in mission work locally and through the national W.M.S.  and eah year has a new mission study.   The group meets on the last Thursday of the month at 1.30 P.M. 

M&M's (Mary's and Martha's):  

Younger ladies group, involved in various activities, incl. support to and organizing a food collection for the breakfast programs of three schools in the community, making prayer shawls, and a pasta dinner each fall. 

Men's Breakfast Group:  

Men come to the church for breakfast (they make their own), fellowship and devotion  -  Saturday at 9 A.M.  Once a year in the Spring, they have a breakfast outing  with spouses to Gilbertson's Pancake House on St. Joseph Island.  

Prayer Chain:  

Those who need special prayers for themselves, family or freinds may submit requests to this group.

Tea With Friends: 

Ladies meet the second Thursday of the month for a program focusing on exercise, walking outside, and drinking tea.

Finance and Maintenance Committee:

They take care of finances and building maintenance. 

Leading-with-Care Committee:

Leading-with-Care is  a policy for ensuring a climate of safety for children, youth and 

vulnerable adults in The Presbyterian Church in Canada. The committee meets when needed.
